As the world moves towards mitigating the effects of climate change and embracing clean energy, the Nakuru County Government appreciates private sector players who adopt measures towards achieving this.

Today Nakuru County Governor Her Excellency Susan Kihika was honoured to be part of unveiling a 438-panel solar plant at Sian Flowers in Mosop Ward in Rongai Sub-county that will provide over 40% of the flower farm’s energy needs.

This means that the company will cutcost on energy and use the extra money on improving on human resources and infrastructure.

The governor reiterated her commitment to supporting such initiatives and challenged other investors to follow this example.
